3 Amazing Satterday Prize Oppertunities! 7/22/2023

This is the first Saturday of our grand celebration and MAN are we having fun. I have visited with over 150 of you in person already and I cant wait to catch up with even more. Todays Free gift Make-and-take are the adorible tiny sweaters. Wheather you are dressing a barbie, a knit frog, or your Christmas tree, it's no matter! These little beauties are just fun to make.
Lets get to business
Our first give away prize for the day is a Crochet kit featuring a very beautiful and very large trianguler shawl called Sunset Diamonds. The pattern is designed by Expression Fiberarts. (have you figured out yet that she is one of my favorites?) The yarn included in the kit starts with this suer soft fingering weight yarn from Queensland called Llama. 100% llama in its natural chocolate brown color. The second is a lighter share of caramel llama grown and milled in Kansas. The other two skeins are a new base from Hot Springs Fiber Company that will launch next month. Magic Merino Fingering is a shuper plump 2 ply fingering weight superwash merino. This color is called Dried Roses. Each hank has over 500 yards. Dyed right here in our shop with natural spring water.
The second giveaway is a Knit package. This one is a fun but elegant fiber bread from The Alpaca Company. It has a full hank of Silky and Alpaca couples with wo hanks of Brushed Suri. All hand dyed to coordinate. The pattern is called the Biased Opinion Shawl. This is one of my designs from 2019. The model still turns heads. There is a fin story behind this one that can be read hear.
Lastly, we have a second knit shawl kit. This one features a more recent design called Deception pass, named after the national park in Washington State. It is paired with a grand set of yarns from Sweet Georgia. 3 skeins of their Bulletproof sock - fingering weight yarn and two skeins of their mohair and silk called Silk Mist, all hand dyed in rich plums and red wine.
